The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is a conservation initiative created and run by the Vancouver Aquarium which takes place the third week of every September. Year after year, tens of thousands of Canadians from coast to coast join together to clean up rivers, lakes, streams and ocean shorelines in their local communities, to help restore the health and beauty of our shoreline ecosystems.
For information on how you can get involved and help organize a cleanup in your community, please visit our website at: http://www.vanaqua.org/cleanup.
